My current work begins with hundreds of images of architecture and interior design from luxury magazines, the visual language of privilege. By slicing these images into narrow strips and reassembling them into layered compositions, I dismantle narratives of aspiration until their original identities dissolve. As the fragments are reassembled, abstracted landscapes emerge.

These landscapes are not depictions of place, but constructions assembled from the visual remnants of luxury. Their emergence suggests that landscape itself is not neutral terrain, but a cultural form shaped by histories of ownership, expansion, desire, and systems of value. By reconfiguring the visual language of the built environment, I explore how ideas of wealth, belonging, and place are continually constructed and inherited.

Beauty is composed of material, design, and process. Seductive surfaces invite viewers into spaces where familiar visual codes have been dismantled and reordered, creating room for alternative ways of seeing the landscapes we imagine, inhabit, and inherit.
