in between states
Referencing North Carolina's 2016 “bathroom bill” and the broader struggle for queer rights, these works examine how bodies and identities are defined, confined, and ultimately reclaimed. Through abstraction, layered imagery, and material transformation, I explore the tension between visibility and vulnerability. Each piece is both personal and political, a meditation on the quiet resilience of living authentically in a world that too often seeks to categorize and contain.
